The UGC approved journal is a list of journal which are selected by the University Grant Commission. UGC is a commission which is run by the central government for higher education. The main duties of this commission is to giving the rights to the colleges and universities in India. And also giving the funds for education for every colleges all over the India. 

There is lot of services provided by this commission.This is one of the service of commission. In UGC approved journal and the research publication field playing great role. The research should be allowed and accepted by the commission then only it will be take it as a research. And also the journal publication will be filtered by the commission.

The UGC approved journal is listed by two ways paid and unpaid journals. They were listing the journals by the annexures. The journal can be written in every many subjects and many situations. These journals can be listed by the staffs who are all in the commission only.
